Other buildings symbols of Florence are:  Palazzo Vecchio, the town hall of Florence, the Ponte Vecchio, the Basilica of Santa Croce, Santa Maria Novella, San Lorenzo, San Miniato al Monte, the Medici Chapels, Palazzo Pitti, the Vasari Corridor. Here lies one of the most famous museums in the world, the Uffizi Museum. Michelangelo’s David, kept in the Academy Museum, is one of the city’s landmarks.
